Artifact: Individualized Education Plan


Reflection: In PED 356, Adapted Physical Education and Sport, Amanda was required to complete field experience with individuals with disabilities. In the pool, Amanda worked with two students that had mental retardation.  One of Amanda's student's was also impaired by blindness.  Following a pre-assessment period using the TGMD-2, Test for Gross Motor Development, Amanda developed an Individualized Education Plan for her student who was impaired by blindness and mental retardation.  The IEP outlined goals for the future as well as considerations for adaptations as well as safety.
